As I Lay Dying

As I Lay Dying is a Chirstian metal band presently signed with Metal Blade Records, As I Lay Dying band is most accurately described as metalcore of Screamo influence, it's name picked up from a book "William Faulkener". It is formed in 2001 at San Diego, California, after their full formation they have signed to Pluto Records and released thier first album "Beneath the Encasting of Ashes" in june in the same year, in 2002 they have added additional songs in the CD with American Tragedy. Their second full length album was "Frail Words Collapse" released with extensive touring with the likes of Himsa, Shadows Fall, The Black Dahila Murder, By Nightfall and other band with heavy music.

Their third full length CD Shadows Are Security in June 2005, they went to second stage in Ozzfest 2005, they are planning to re-release their first two recording by Pluto Recordings by Metal Blade on one CD by May 2006, and at least one bonus slated to appear on the release will be a new version of the track "Reinvention".

Their former members are Evan White (Guitar), Jasun Krebs (Guitar), Aaron Kennedy (Bass guitar), Todd Douglas (Bass guitar).
