Bun B
Bun B is an African American rapper who born on March 19, 1973, his complete name is Bernard Freeman, Bun B is from Southern hip hop act UGK of Port Arthur, Texas. Presently he stays in Houston, and he is a member of Rap-A-Lot Records, he made a guest apperarance on numerous albums by Houston rappers along with other atrists who belongs to south. His first albumwas "Trill" released in October 18, 2005, it was said that he released this album to keep the UGK name alive while Pimp C was in prision, the producer for it was J. Prince with label Rap-A-Lot/Asylum and its length was about 73 min 52 sec. It debuted at 6th position on the Hot 100 and went Gold.
The expectations fro this album hit a tipping point that could lead to the dissappointment that heared from this album, and it was the one among the better records released in 2005, then she shined with "The Inaugration" with lines like "I ain't with all that back-talking, sneak-dissin, or plexin'/ I'ma tell you how I feel cause I'ma goddamn Texan". And he has a excellent guest support from fellow hall of Farmers like Jay-Z and Scarface give the album more weight then the artists claim to push.
Their first tape, The Southern Way contained the monster hit, "Tell Me Something Good", that borrowed heavily from the Rufus and Chaka Khan hit of the same name, it was sold about 40 to 50,000 copies independently without any movement for that type of shit.
The Bun B is also known for starting "Free Pimp C", "Free The Pimp" or the words to that effect in nearly every song he made was featured on since the incarceration of this bandmate Pimp C.
His singles are "Git It" Trill/U.S.A", Get Throwned", "Draped Up", "Draped Up Remix".
