Fort Minor
Fort Minor is an hip-hop project created by Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, Mike's goal for the project is to have fun with his friends, rather than to showcase the hottest names in underground and mainstream. Fort Minor album called as "The Rising Tied" is the first project from them released in November 22, 2005 by Machine Shop Recordings. The music in it was composed, produced and mixed by Shinode alone, the other two for Guitar and A&R work in the album are Brad Delson and DJ Joe Hahn. The song was "Petrified" believed to be the lead single in the US. It has been released with Bonus Tracks "Be Somebody featured by Lupe Fiasco and Holly Brook, "There They Go" by Six John, "The Hard Way" by Kenna. There chart has been placed at 27 position on Australian HMV charts and at 7th in Australian ARIA urban chart.
Fort Minor bands first singles "Believe Me" is released in CD single format, It was placed at 31 position in Australian HMV charts in the first week itself, the National Basketball Association is currently using Remember the Name as the theme song for the 2006 NBA Playoffs.
Coming to their Vinyl Records "Pertrified/Remember The Name (Vinyl)", "We Major EP (Vinyl)", the first one was a debut single album of them and the other was Major mixtape, that was created by "DJ Green Lantern".
