Goo Goo Dolls
Goo Goo Dolls is an alternative rock band fromed in 1985 in Buffalo, New York by Johnny Rzeznik(vocalist and guitarist), Robby Takac(vocals, bass), and included Mike Malinin(drums) in 1995. Goo Goo Dolls were then known as "Sex Maggots", they signed first with Metal Blade Records.
Their fist album was "Goo Goo Dolls" released in 1987 in this all songs were sung by Robby Taksc, he was aleading singger at that time. Second was "Jed" in 1989, next was "Hold Me Up" in 1990 this albumwas considered as Goo Goo Dolls' last true "garage rock" album. Third was "Superstar Car Wash" released in Febrauary, 1993 on Warner Bros, Johnny wrote the song with his idol, just by mailing to each other with Paul Westerberg they never meet each other in studio.
"A Boy Named Goo" was released in 1995 March 14, by producers Goo Goo Dolla and Lou Giordano with 42 min 20 sec in its length. Then "Dizzy Up the Girl" released on Sep 22, 1998 in 45 min 03 sec length. It certified as gold by selling 500,000 copies in 1998, 1,000,000 copies in Dec certified as platinum, also took double, tripple platinums by selling 2,000,000 and 3,000,000 copies in March 3 and November 10 of 1999 respectively.
Then comes "What I Learned About Ego, Opinion, Art & Commerce" in 2001, July 17, about 78 min 36 sec, it is also called as "EOAC". Then "Gutterflower" released in 2002, April 9, by them and Rob Cavallo as producers. "Line in Buffalo" in July 4, 2004. There are 19 songs on the DVD total, plus a studio version of their Supertramp cover, "Give A Little Bit" on the CD.
Goo Goo Dolls last album in 2006 at April 25, was "Let Love In" by Glen Ballard as producer with 42 min 02 sec in length, "Give a Little Bit.", "Stay With You" is the most recent single to be released off the album and can be purchased via iTunes, Napster and other online music services.
