Jason Aldean is a country music artist born on Feb 28, 1977. He started his carrer with Brown Bow Records in Jan 2004. Jason Aldean sings in a honky-tonk tenor, honky-tonky means a portion were the brand name of piano comes, tenor means "to hold" which comes from latin word tenere. He released his first album in 2005 the nabe was "Jason Aldean" which stood in 37th position in US, it was recently announced as gold, after selling about 500,000 copies.
Aldean just went gold in 12 weeks with his self-titled debut, thanks to the first single titled “Hicktown”, a four-wheeling, hell-raising, small-town party song written by John Rich, Big Kenny and Vicky McGehee. Those 11-song CD (which has three cuts written by Aldean) has several more killer cuts branded with the red-hot pens of Big and Rich.
Aldean, who takes Hank Williams Jr., Alabama and George Strait among his biggest early influences, started playing live at age 14 at a VFW in Macon, Ga. At age 15, he joined the house band at a Macon nightclub called Nashville South. He signed to a song publishing deal with Warner-Chappell in 1998, Aldean and his band, which have been together about six years, have honed their sound around Music City since then, just waiting for a break.
Aldean and the members are loving every minute wuth four trips to the Grand Ole Opry, the tour to support the new CD, heading to New York for the CMAs and the little odd perks, like the Tennessee Titans cheerleaders doing a routine to your song. The gold record on the wall, and “Why”, a new single on the charts already at No. 54 without being officially released yet and climbing still.
Jason Aldean said “We just found out about the gold record, and it has been a two-week-long celebration” , and “There’s a long history there, and the fact that this all is happening has been sweet for me and sweet for them”.
